If you're looking to do that sort of thing outdoors, walk a bit further to Kelvingrove Park, preferably away from the skate park or any of the play areas. You will probably be bothered less and not have people think you're being weird.
Even at the furthest point on that grass area, you were still less than 100m from a school. I know that in an ideal society, you shouldn't have to think of such things but it's how it is. Unless you have kids with you, don't hang around playparks or near schools.
All that being said, the kids were being little pricks. |
