It's not that weird. People do sparring, acrobatics and all sorts in public parks. It's only for people who don't know how to not be a judgemental prick that think it's odd. Sure, if you're being obnoxious about it, that's different. Keep practicing your kicks, and if some wee idiots try to do that, use the kicks for real.
