Glasgow has quite an active night life, with bars and clubs open quite late.
If quiet is more your thing, you can't get much quieter than the Necropolis.
It's got a lot of history to it you can explore as you look through a virtual tour of some kind, while fumbling about in a dark graveyard.
....admittedly I have an odd sense of fun.
