You made a mistake letting it go. You SHOULD have spoken to their parents. Keep picking your kids up in the playground and the next time the wee donkeys want to have a go restrain them and call the police - if this is what you’re going to do report this original incident just now. The police will arrive and (of course) release them but they’ll get the fright of their lives. And so will their parents. Repeat this process until you’re not worth the hassle.
I’m assuming your kids don’t enjoy violence? If someone my age had attacked my dad a) he wouldn’t have hesitated to leather them and he’d have considered himself doing them a favour b) he’d of battered me at home for not getting involved on his behalf. Times have changed I suppose. But take the time to explain your decisions to your children you want them to respect you and themselves. |
