| Comment | Had this problem too. Your car needs to be:
1) insured at the address your applying for a permit for
2) registered on the V5C under name of a person living at that address
3) the person applying must be the person on the V5C
to be eligible for a parking permit.
My car was insured in Edinburgh and under my dads name, which meant I couldn’t park it while at uni. Had to reinsure the car and transfer ownership to myself to get a parking permit. |
