Its the sheer brass neck of them now isn't it? When I was in retail, at least they had the decency to look a bit shifty, but now its straight in there, browse around, pick up stuff and out the door. Totally bypassing the checkouts or self service.
No solution, because all that'll happen is prices will continue to rise and more people will be at it.
