| Comment | At the end of the day every merchant can choose to accept whatever method of payment they want. Whether it be a taxi driver or a global corporation. There is no god given right to pay by card. It’s down to them whether they think the lost business is worth it or not.
GCC are at fault for not making a working card terminal a mandatory part of license conditions.
It is a weekly complaint on here and a well known issue that many taxis are cash only. Don’t know why people act surprised. Go down the rank until you get one that takes card, book on the app where you can pay by card in app, or be prepared with cash just incase. It’s not that hard. Cunts just like to make life difficult for themselves. |
