| Comment | I’d second this suggestion. Lots of colours available, and they are fully waterproof. They don’t have padding or filling at all, so you do need layers for warmth, but this is what you want for Glasgow - you can get unseasonably warm temperatures with rain in between.
A fully waterproof top layer dries quicker. I find the padded waterproof jackets aren’t always completely waterproof, so if you get soaked, they can take ages to dry out again.
The Rains ones are nice and would work for smart casual, but you could find an equivalent for cheaper as they are on the more expensive end. |
