| Comment | They told me Christmas up north didn't count as an excuse and I should come back to glasgow for the time on the letter when I got selected for mid December 22. Felt like a real robot reply though.
Pushed them again and someone more human responded saying I could get out of the December one but would be called again on the new year (I was, but same as OP, phone the line for a week and be told you're not needed) Dunno if you need the backing of "it's Christmas" for a uk holiday to count though. |
