Glasgow is significantly more affordable than London and safer too as long as you avoid the worst parts


Glasgow has 3 bed flats and houses starting around 60k up to 500k+ so you could afford 3 bed no problem providing you have at least some budget - the "best areas" to live would be generally speaking the north-west/west of the city along with some areas in the south such as Giffnock and some areas of East Kilbride but there are good and bad areas all over the city - the Scottish deprivation index site can break down individual areas within areas if you wanted to check up on specific streets

but would advise; just as its a lot more affordable wages are quite a bit lower; if you are wanting to continue as a bus driver; first buses salary levels out between 30-35k if you sell your soul for the upper limit, which I assume is probably lower than London
