| Comment | Different culture there regarding cash and banking though. Bank accounts need to be paid for by and large. There are a lot more banks, and having an account with one doesn't mean you can use your card in another (or with another's machine). The currency is a shared one, with higher denominations used much more frequently. Cashless and contactless is quickly becoming more accepted though. Agreed he's talking utter shite though.
