Google says that they close at 11pm so we thought we had plenty of time to teach my friend how to play Magic the Gathering. Just after ten, a guy who I assume was the manager came over to us, rudely and bluntly told us that they were closed, that we had to leave and that they 'don't allow games'.
In my job, we politely go over to customers to let them know that we're closing soon, not just bluntly and rudely kick them out. The 'not allowing games' thing is also just weird. We were harmlessly playing a card game while drinking the drinks and eating the desserts we'd bought. Can't fathom a reason why games wouldn't be allowed.
Food was decent and it would have been a cool wee place to regularly play in, but after that weird rule announcement and the way it was delivered, we won't be back. |
