I hear ye, its defo worthwhile addressing that with them directly because they should be able to help. If its a Housing Association that is your factor, which Im presuming it is, they will have a welfare rights department and you could ask to be put in touch with them to determine if you're eligible for any help with regards to these bills and extra costs.
