There are loads of cinemas. Of varying sizes. The Cineworld in the city centre was the largest cinema in Europe when it was built (I don't know if it still is). The big Showcase multiplexes scattered around the outskirts are great and all have big recliner leather seats. There's the GFT which shows smaller and independent and classic movies, and the building is in the art deco style - it's awesome. There's numerous Odeon and Vue: Braehead, The Quay, St Enoch etc, there's IMAX over near The Hydro, there's an old Empire in Clydebank, just west of the city, which doesn't show loads, but is definitely a bit cheaper for tickets. Lots to choose from
