I would take the train to Glasgow Central Station and just stroll around the city centre and west end. Glasgow is pretty walkable. The Southside (where you are staying) is supposed to be nice too. Kelvingrove Park is quite nice. Inn Deep is a nice little bar. Looks like it will be a bit cloudier today than it was yesterday unfortunately.
