There’s quite a few farm shops in South Ayrshire area around the country side. You can find them by searching “Farm Shop” on google maps and then pressing “search this area” while moving around. Might be worth mapping them out and picking a few to drive to.

Like others have said, the Clyde valley has a bunch of garden centres. If you’re heading that way if you be worth checking out New Lanark if you want something museum-ish to visit. I only recently found out it’s listed as a world heritage site.

Another option worth checking out might be Dumfries house. It would probably take an hour or so to drive there depending on where you’re coming from, but along the way you should be able to find some farm shops to visit.
