Should buy you about 3-6 months of peace before they start sending you threatening letters that will heavily imply that you're under some sort of formal investigation and about to receive a visit. It's all bollocks. If you read the letter carefully it's full of language like "We MAY begin an investigation" and "Our inspectors MAY call at any time". It's all scare tactics you can safely ignore. Even if they come to the door they have no authority to enter. Just keep telling them you don't need one and don't engage beyond that. |
