I used to live in New York and I can 100% confirm that drivers here are fucking maniacs who are either willfully ignorant or openly aggressive towards pedestrians.
I can’t speak to conditions in the rest of the UK, but every other country I’ve visited in Europe has such a different culture when it comes to drivers and pedestrians. I love this city but hate the drivers here.
