The Kelvingrove is lovely as a date, there's loads of interesting things to point out and talk to each other about, so its a place that keeps striking conversations. Plus its free, and the cafe is decent too if you went for food/snacks there afterwards.

I also second crazy golf/bowling, but if you have a competitive streak maybe reserve it as a 2nd/3rd date idea, since I have seen guys become \*totally different\* people when they are in their competitive state and honestly it can be quite jarring!

A cinema and then dinner is good because at least you have something to talk about at dinner!

Honestly, sometimes the cheaper things can be more memorable. I think my favourite date ive ever been on was climbing arthurs seat, having a picnic at the top, and then going to a bookshop afterwards for hot chocolate.
