I recommend keeping it quite short to see if you like them or not, i.e. meeting in a coffee shop or going on a short walk in a park, if you don't click then doing a specific activity is going to be a bit shit - I once spent several hours in Edinburgh Zoo with a date that I realised I didn't like, it was a pretty awful day lol.
