I feel for you. My son is bothered by the same thing and has recently had chalazion removal.

First step is go and see an optician. They will more than likely give you a long course of antibiotics, these don't always work but are the first line in treatment as far as I am aware.

The optician can refer you for chalazion removal. My son was told nhs waiting list is a year but it might be different for you as it is affecting your vision. His was large and unsightly but luckily did not affect his eye sight. I dont know if an urgent referal may be an option in your case? This would definitely be something to discuss with an optician.

I know you mentioned applying heat not working but please try a heated eye mask and use it morning and night and whenever you can in between. Then massage the area afterwards, It really does make a difference. If you google chalazion massage on you tube there are some videos on the correct technique. Although it didn't get rid of my son's chalazions completely, it did shrink a couple of them down as it helped to express some of the oil out.

Tbe antibiotics didnt work for my son and he ended up getting a referral from his optician to a private clinic (rosshall) for removal of the largest chalazion as it was affecting his confidence and didnt feel he could wait a year. It cost him over £700 but it has made a massive difference. I know that's not an option for everyone, he was lucky that he had a bit saved.

I would make an appointment with an optician as soon as possible to discuss your options.

Good luck.
