Just for reference. Joseph Roundtree Foundation has found the poverty has been rising in UK since tories were in power.

That tells me austerity is having a negative impact on the majority. Children & elderly more so than most.

Institute For Government found that local authority spending has fell by 17.5% since 2009/10 to 2019/20 in England. It has recovered slightly in last few years but 10 years of losing over 6th of their spending a year seems to have probably done the damage.

I’ll await any logical response.
