| Comment | I’ve received so much shit over the last few years for giving my honest opinion, used to live round the corner, gave it 3 attempts and was disappointed all of them. Food was bland, wait staff were nearly absent, took forever to even order a drink or see a menu and it wasn’t even busy. The pasta was shop bought,overcooked and soggy. The seafood was clearly shop bought frozen, cream and peas in a carbonara, any Italian would tell you that’s a no go and the hygene is suspect aswell from my experience.So much more wrong with it, the locals love it and won’t have anyone dare say otherwise are too if the list for most. I think battlefield rest is a beautiful building and the locals are terrified that if it closes they’d knock the building down or something, so pretend it’s amazing. |
