Comment | Assuming you’re talking about fungus gnats and no, they don’t damage plant roots. They’re harmless to plants (occasionally, the larvae may feed on seedlings but it’s uncommon).
I have plenty of them (I have a lot of house plants) but they just stay round the plants and I barley ever notice them let alone bother me.
I’m thinking OP must have fruit flies if they’re doing their nut in. |
