Nah won’t be if it is gnats. Depending on the plant the yellow dots may be an infection/disease but you’ll be best to Google that plant and find out. (If you don’t know what the plant is, try using google lens - it’s surprising good. Also, iirc there’s an app for identifying plants using your camera too.)
