I wouldnt agree with the dog walking comment. We have the canals that run along kelvinside to clydebank/spiers wharf (or even falkirk if you wanna go that far). Lot's of big parks too: Ruchill, Victoria, Linn, Rouken Glen, Ally parade, Queens, Bellahousten and more. Plus following the clyde past glasgow green is a gorgeous wee walk
