| Comment | I'm in a fortunate position to have visited Japan. You'd be surprised at the lack of public bins - there's usually a very wee one close to vending machines (not always, but often, vending machines literally every corner even on random streets) and barely any public ones, yet you won't find litter on the floor. Folk just keep it with them and bin it when there's one available.
Here folk just throw it on the ground somewhere. Someone else's problem, eh? |
