I'm fine with safe injection sites like this. They're a necessity when you have a drug death rate that we have. People in the area might piss and moan about it being there, but would they like the alternative? The area is historically, and still today, rather crime-borne. You'd have to be an idiot to buy a home there or move there without accepting that in the future it may get worse. These imagined concerned citizens can fuck off to Bearsden if they're worried about that. |
