I actually clearly differentiated our system by mentioning that Scottish Water is publicly owned but there are many similarities in the outcomes of waste being dumped in rivers and beaches in all Uk constituent nations

Do you understand that there is investment and water infrastructure works being done constantly in E&W too? Clearly what is being done in England, Wales and Scotland ISN’T GOOD ENOUGH

From Scottish Water source I quoted these are the upgrades to the piles along the Kelvin:

“The upgrade work began in summer 2019 and has required the installation of mechanical screens on overflow pipes to prevent objects greater than 6mm (i.e. prevent rags, baby wipes, large plastic cotton buds etc) overflowing into the River Kelvin during storm events”

So shit, piss, toilet paper, medical waste smaller all than 6mm is fine to be dumped into the Kelvin in your opinion?

You think 47 MILLION litres of sewage dumped in Scotlands waterways is something to be proud of?
