| Comment | They're not paid to write the property stories. It's an easy thing to write which people read. It's just another version of the property supplements you get in weekend editions of papers, albeit they are paid for. Loads of people like to look at properties, cars etc they have zero intention of buying. A property story that's paid for would be marked as "paid promotion, sponsored article" etc. The same goes for stories about top 10 restaurants. More specific reviews of restaurants, hotels, holiday destinations are paid for in the sense the reviewer will get a free meal, free stay, discounted stay and so on. |
