Extra votes for both Babbity Bowster (if you go in on a Sunday there are often wee jam sessions which can be cool) and Ardnamurchan. Closer to George Square you also have Rab Ha's which is decent and, although I've not eaten there, the Piper bar on George Square does Scottish food.
