Yes sorry. I gave corporate examples but we can run a vast list of celebrities & millionaires known to have avoided or avoiding tax.
I mean I understand that argument. But also recognise that these companies are making massive profits off the back of that also. Suppose that’s capitalism in a nutshell. Margins gotta keep growing.
I was also using the lack of accountability to pay tax on corporations (or individuals from more affluence/wealth) deters others from doing so.. or can justify others from avoiding.
Either way - it’s a massive problem. And has went way off topic of council tax and bins… haha. |
