| Comment | It's an open question as to how much design attributed to Mackintosh she did (she certainly contributed and was an influence, but Mackintosh hardly did nothing but tack his name onto her work) but he did credit her for two thirds of his architectural work. You're absolutely right about it being easier for men to get ahead then and take more credit than they deserved. Hell, it happens now. After Mackintosh died she was hardly mentioned at all. |
