| Comment | It's always best to have some form of ID (passports or driving licences) on you in the town because some places will ask everyone to show it, regardless of how young or old they look. The worst bar for not letting crowds of guys in is Tingle Bar in Mitchell lane. Most other places you should be sound. You'll have no issues getting in the vast majority of places provided you're not overly rowdy as you approach the bouncers. If you have the option to book a table in certain bars then definitely take advantage of that because it'll pretty much guarantee you all get in.
The Celtic-Rangers game was played on Sunday just passed so you'll have no issues in that regard if your not coming up for another few weeks. If you're up when Celtic are at home, the pubs in the Merchant City, Saltmarket and Gallowgate will be busier with Celtic fans after the game as these are the closest city centre areas to Celtic Park and many people walk into town for a pint after the game. I can't say definitively where Rangers fans drink in town because I'm not a Rangers fan and I simply don't know. Either way I don't see you having any problems with football fans if it by chance comes up in conversation.
