| Comment | If you live in an area you tend to be in your own wee bubble and don't think of the place as somewhere tourists would want to come. I got talking to a couple from Chicago when I went to see Evanescence and Within Temptation at the Hydro last year and asked them what brought them over besides the concert. Historic buildings, the scenery, Loch Lomond and the music & art scene were there answers. It was quite fun to see Glasgow from a tourists perspective, gave them a few places to visit and recommended the mural trail for the art, especially the ones of Billy Connolly. |
