Comment | So you watched one extremely biased documentary and now you're an expert? Also, playing the system for what exactly? Some really weak speed that would cost well over a grand to get a hold of, assuming you actually get diagnosed, never mind the ongoing prescription costs.
Trust me, ADHD is real. I live with it daily, and although I was diagnosed many years ago and take medication every day, it still has a massive detrimental effect on my life.
That Panorama ADHD show has caused massive damage to a community of extremely vulnerable individuals and both the reporter and the BBC should be ashamed of themselves.
FYI - I don't receive any money or a blue badge for having ADHD, nor does anyone else I know who has it, but I do manage to hold down a fairly stressful job and I try my best to fit in to a world that I don't feel welcome in. |
