Yes, I agree with that and in those cases you should take legal action against your NHS board. My only point is that to say “most don’t” is still nonsense as while yes the NHS waiting lists are the longest they’ve been on record at around 8 million people ( https://www.theguardian.com/society/2023/sep/14/record-number-people-waiting-start-routine-nhs-hospital-treatment-england) they are still seeing 1.6 million people every day (https://www.kingsfund.org.uk/projects/nhs-in-a-nutshell/NHS-activity) or around 570 million a year.

Yes the nhs needs to be better but we shouldn’t disregard the remarkable job they are doing despite budget cuts.
