Plus that whole deal only gets to you more as you build more connections. My partner is in Edi but all her friends are here. She is a student there but absolutely would sooner live in Glasgow. Its just like her whole support network is in a different city. Its not ideal either way tbf, but I would definitely rather be near friends than work.
