It's not that ridiculous really. Tesco and the cinema are different businesses. Tesco likely have the contract with the parking company *precisely* because they want to discourage people using their parking spaces to visit the cinema and restaurants.
I mean I'm not saying it's a good thing (or a bad thing) but it doesn't take a massive stretch of the imagination to work out why one business doesn't want people using their land to patronise another business. |
