This reminds me of my pal who used to live in Helensburgh. He didn't care much for life there so regularly travelled to Glasgow on the train. He was lucky and looked very young for his age and constantly purchased child tickets. He would also avoid the fare as much as possible by moving to the train set which had no clicky.

There was this Ticket Nazi who knew his tricks and when she was on duty she would make a point of catching up with him to get the fare paid. One day after such an encounter she said to him " I've been selling you a child ticket on this train for over 5 years, you absolutely have to be over 16 by now?" By this time I think he was about 20! :)
