| Comment | Going from the location description (between Central and Argyle Street stations), there's isn't an offshoot tunnel that leads somewhere else in that segment.
What you're seeing is probably the abandoned Central lower level platforms that were used for the railway about 100 years ago. They weren't brought back into use when the Argyle Line was redeveloped and reopened in the 80s.
The spare platform has been renovated recently to host a small museum as part of the Central Station Tour. Might be you saw lights related to that. |
