If you're spending £5~ a day on buses a weekly zonecard is worth it as I think it's £20ish a week for unlimited bus, train and subway travel around your zones on your card. If you get one Glasgow zone you automatically get to use it in the city centre. So maybe it works out better if you use public transport out with your working days.
