I have opinions on these companies and the way they operate. But I am exceedingly fortunate that I don't have to use them.
Right now, the LEZ is limited to the town centre. There are ways to get around it (parking in Govan and taking the subway, parking in Dennistoun or Partick and getting the train, walk if physically able). The cost of a return ticket is less than the charge for parking. I'm not sure which jobs are being discussed where people need cars in the town centre, can afford the insane parking charges, but *can't* afford anything else.
I might be coming off as a cunt here, but that's really not my intention. Like I said, I'm lucky enough that this doesn't affect me, so I very much suspect I'm talking out my arse with regards to this |
