If you're a Glasgow resident, you get a pass that lets you into these institutions for free. If not, you pay something like a fiver or a tenner to get in. Many other museums around the world charge for entry, it's not that expensive and with the amount of visitors outwith the city that go to these places, it would no doubt be a welcome cash injection for a financially crippled body.
