| Comment | Blast from the past! My dad used to work pretty high up in that place. Spent many an hour as a kid in their offices whilst he was working. They had a big store London too and he was down there a LOT.
Interesting wee aside: the guys he used to work closely with in London went on to create Ted Baker (the Goldbergs connection is why the first shop was in Glasgow). They wanted him onboard too but Dad was too sick of spending so much time away from home as it was. Would’ve been a multimillionaire now but he had to go an be a good dad didn’t he. What a cunt. Anyway, he always stayed good pals and did bits of pieces of work for them too - free gratis. Some of my favourite memories as a kid was being down in London with dad and staying with his pal there, hanging about Ted HQ lol. |
