You can think Israel is the bad guy and also think the Palestinians who committed these acts are evil. Elements of both are completely fucking abhorrent.
If the Palestinians (Hamas) were concerned about being dehumanised by the media there wouldn’t be videos of them abducting and killing people. Pick your battles ffs.
