| Comment | I think it’s self evident that the choice of words was intended to draw a distinction between the overall parties to the conflict (Israel, Palestine) and the acts of Hamas, rather than the Palestinians at large.
The same Hamas, a group of self decreed Islamic fundamentalists, who are aligned with Iran and preach antisemitism regularly. I would say they’re pretty evil, regardless of justification.
People who think a two state solution would ever work with Hamas around are deluded. It would be a disaster for the ME and world security. Basically just another Iran funding similar terrorist organisations.
Israel is run by a similar bunch of idiots who seem to believe that Zionism gives them a right to oppress another native people.
They’re both fucking stupid.
None of that changes the fact that what’s happening now in Israel is abhorrent. What Israel do to Palestine will be abhorrent too.
