| Comment | Offers over is normally a few grand below MV, so set your expectations that you'll need to offer a few grand over market value, depending on price.
I just bought a house in Rutherglen for 140k. MV was 140k which I was surprised about. The offers over on Rightmove was 125k. I had bid on a house in Cathkin a couple months back for £122k. MV was 120k and Offers over was £115k.
I was outbid on that one with my solicitor saying "A good few grand" over what I'd bid. |
