| Comment | My family gets this but more of a trigger when they speak and then the cashier / assistant changes in a heartbeat. U have to remember that so many folk have never been further that the end of their street, and their education level is basically zero. The end result is an aggressive halfwit, dependent on bevvy and coke to get him / her thru the week, who is bitter about anyone else getting ahead (you) and hey presto, stares, comments, complaints and general day to day racism. So many folk here still cling to the friends they have had their whole life and so when they have a chance to engage with the outside world (you) they don’t take it. Its strange I know, but its just how Glasgow is. |
