| Comment | I used to work in Parkhead, in the concessions then as security, from 2000 til 2004. I’d followed Celtic since I was old enough to sit with my dad and watch the game, bringing him his beer and oranges when told. I’d met a lot of the then current players at that point, they used to bring their weans out to kick around the pitch when the stadium emptied and it was lovely. Since then I’ve worked in various gig venues and met a lot of pretty famous people without much fuss (Lordi were surprisingly shy, Avril Lavigne was a nasty cow to name but 2) However, I’ve never been more star struck as the day I met Paul McStay. I still cringe at how floored I was by this very normal, unassuming guy. Absolute legend. |
